Women's Ministry

 

The Women of Lighthouse meet regularly to encourage and lift each other up to God.  We use this opportunity to also include those women who are not associated with Lighthouse.  Please join us at any time!

1 Peter 3:3-4

Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty that depends on fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

Timothy 1:7

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but (He has given us a spirit) of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Vision:  To create women of God providing a loving atmosphere for learning to live as Christ and lighting the way for others.

Mission Statement:  To Provide opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and outreach to the women of Lighthouse.

Goals:

  • To provide monthly events to promote fellowship within Lighthouse while providing an opportunity for inviting others to join.
  • To provide ongoing ways that the women of Lighthouse are able to reach out to the community by serving others.
  • Create a loving environment to support each other through prayer.
  • To acknowledge the uniqueness and beauty of every woman within Lighthouse.
  • Encourage spiritual growth in becoming more like Christ.
  • To provide a safe environment for women to share their need of support.
  • To love each other as Christ loves us.
