First time questions you may have…

What should I expect in church?

Lighthouse Community Church meets in the cafeteria of Williamston Middle School.  We consider ourselves the “church without walls” as our main focus is on outreach; a church building is ancillary!  During our services you can expect an exciting and energetic worship gathering, friendly people, a spirited praise band, and a laid back atmosphere.  It is our desire that you will feel right at home from the moment you step into the building.  A social time after the service is provided with snacks and great fellowship.

What should I wear?

In our informal atmosphere, most people feel comfortable dressing in a more casual style.

What's available for my kids?

Childcare is provided for children up to the pre-K age.  A children’s program is available for Kindergarten age through 5th grade and will meet during the service just after our worship time.  Your child will be taught Biblical truths and have fun activities to support the lessons.

Music Worship

A praise band leads our worship.  Our music style is contemporary praise and worship, using songs by Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Matt Redman, Rita Springer, Tim Hughes, Third Day, Casting Crowns and others, as well as occasionally contemporizing a hymn.

Offering/Giving Practice

An offering basket may or may not be passed around each Sunday and is intended for the regular attendees of Lighthouse, those who consider Lighthouse their church home.  Guests should not feel obligated to contribute in this way.

Fellowship

After each service there is a fellowship time with snacks and beverages.  Our desire is that people connect with God at each service and with each other during fellowship time.
