Welcome to Lighthouse Community Church!

Daniel Boone is the patron saint of men worldwide who refuse to admit "sense of direction" defeat.  He is quoted as saying, "I have never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks."  Putting aside the coonskin cap and fringed leather clothing, have you ever wondered where you are on a trip? 

More importantly have you ever wondered where you are on your spiritual journey?  If you're like most of the rest of us, you've wondered about what it takes to get to the next stage....just like a teenager

wonders what it's going to take to get to the "Mom and Dad, let me live my own life--just send money" stage.

During the last 3 Sundays of September, we'll explore what the stages of a spiritual journey toward God look like, how you know what stage you're in, and how to cooperate with God to move yourself (and others) to the next stage.  Join us for Spiritual Transitions: Moving Forward as a Way of LIfe

    Who is this Lighthouse group anyways?

Lighthouse (usually) meets in the cafeteria of Williamston Middle School.  

We consider  ourselves a “church without walls.” To us, this means three things:     

1.   Eliminating unneccesary barriers that keep people from experiencing God   

2.  Removing unneccesary walls that keep people "in" church programs and church relationships and not "out" in our community

3. And...well...obviously owning our own facility isn't as important to us as putting our resources into other things.  

 During our services you can expect a laid back atmosphere, normal and nice people, a spirited praise band, and clearly Christian teaching on life with God in today's world.  If you're looking for a place to pursue your journey with God alongside a group of people who are too, we hope you feel right at home from the moment you step into the building.  We even plan a social time after the service to just "hang out" and meet each other...with a cup of coffee in hand and food stuff in our teeth.
